"Getting Ready"

  • Stay hydrated! Drink lots of water before and during your ride


  • Be safe - don't forget your helmet!


  • Check bike tires to ensure they are properly inflated (see manufacturer's instructions for correct PSI)


  • Check brakes - make sure the brake pads are coming in full contact with the rim for sure-stopping power


  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to make your ride more enjoyable and relaxing


  • Enjoy a light and delicious pre-ride snack for an energetic way to start your ride.
